Day 3 Devlog
Untitled roguelike » Devlog
WHY SO SOON
Because it's early and progress happens quick!
WHAT DID YOU DO
- Made the testing area prettier by adding variation to the tiles
- Restructured a bunch of the code from the character to allow for the game to be controller / keyboard and mouse friendly
- Restructured some code so enemies could fly out when you shoot them
- Fixed some AI issues
- Fixed many graphical bugs with bullets hiding behind walls or crashing to soon into walls
WHAT DID YOU BREAK
I don't know! My bullet script is giving me a null reference exception I can't deal with for some reason, nothing game breaking but very annoying for the console.
WHAT'S NEXT
It depends on the difficulty of the problem, I'm not quite sure if I'll be able to work on floor generation next or if I'll do something simpler like implement some of the characters that aren't code intense.
I will also start work on my super secret character art so I can know as soon as possible if I'll have to commission for its creation.
Untitled roguelike
